حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَيَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ، وَكَانَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمَا بِجُلُوسٍ "
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver the khutbah standing, then sit, then stand again.
