حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، ق
Body (Matn)
َالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ ضَمْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّالْوِتْرَ لَيْسَ بِحَتْمٍ كَالصَّلَاةِ، وَلَكِنَّهُ سُنَّةٌ، فَلَا تَدَعُوهُ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Witr is not an obligation like the prescribed prayers, but it is a sunnah that the Prophet ﷺ established, so do not abandon it.'
