English Translation
It was narrated from Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded them to bring out the women — including menstruating ones — for the Eid prayers. The menstruating ones were to stand apart from the prayer area but witness the goodness and the supplication of the Muslims. She asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what if one of them does not have a jilbab?' He said: 'Let her sister lend her one of her garments.'
