حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ هُوَ : ابْنُ بِشْرٍ الْأَحْ

مَسِيُّ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ مِرْدَاسٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يَذْهَبُ الصَّالِحُونَ أَسْلَافًا وَيَبْقَى حُثَالَةٌ كَحُثَالَةِ الشَّعِيرِ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Mirdas al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ☯ said: "The righteous will depart one after another, and the dregs will remain like the worthless residue of barley or dates; Allah will not care about them at all."
