Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِسَخْلَة
ٍ جَرْبَاءَ قَدْ أَخْرَجَهَا أَهْلُهَا. قَالَ : " تُرَوْنَ هَذِهِ هَيِّنَةً عَلَى أَهْلِهَا؟ ". قَالُوا : نَعَمْ. قَالَ :" وَاللَّهِ لَلدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ☯ passed by a dead, scrawny sheep and said: 'Do you think this is worthless to its owner?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'By Allah, this world is more worthless to Allah than this sheep is to its owner.'
