أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِّهِ، قَالَ : " يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ ، إِنَّكَمَا دَعَوْتَنِي وَرَجَوْتَنِي، غَفَرْتُ لَكَ مَا كَانَ فِيكَ. ابْنَ آدَمَ ، إِنَّكَ إِنْ تَلْقَانِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطَايَا، لَقِيتُكَ بِقُرَابِهَا مَغْفِرَةً بَعْدَ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكَ بِي شَيْئًا، ابْنَ آدَمَ ، إِنَّكَ إِنْ تُذْنِبْ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ ذَنْبُكَ عَنَانَ السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ تَسْتَغْفِرُنِي أَغْفِرْ لَكَ وَلَا أُبَالِي "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ☯ narrated from his Lord: 'O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you whatever you have done. O son of Adam, even if your sins reached the clouds and you sought My forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, even if you came to Me with sins nearly filling the earth and you met Me having associated nothing with Me, I would come to you with forgiveness nearly filling it.'
