أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ

نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ، فَقِيلَ : لَا أَنْتِ أَطْعَمْتِيهَا وَسَقَيْتِيهَا، وَلَا أَنْتِ أَرْسَلْتِيهَا فَتَأْكُلَ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ☯ said: "A woman entered Hellfire because of a cat she imprisoned, neither feeding it nor letting it free to find food from the earth, until it died of hunger."
