Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَزَارِيُّ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، قَالَ :" الْقُرْآنُ يَشْفَعُ لِصَاحِبِهِ، فَيُكْسَى حُلَّةَ الْكَرَامَةِ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ
: رَبِّ زِدْهُ، فَيُكْسَى تَاجَ الْكَرَامَةِ، قَالَ : فَيَقُولُ : رَبِّ زِدْهُ، فَآتِهِ، وَآتِهِ. .. قَالَ : يَقُولُ : رِضَائِي ". قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : قَالَ وُهَيْبُ بْنُ الْوَرْدِ : اجْعَلْ قِرَاءَتَكَ الْقُرْآنَ عِلْمًا، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ عَمَلًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Salih that he said: "The Quran will intercede for its companion. He will be clothed with a robe of honor; then it will say: 'O Lord, increase him' — and he will be crowned with the crown of honor; then: 'O Lord, increase him' — and he will be given more and more, until (the Quran says): He says: 'My pleasure.'" Abu Muhammad (al-Darimi) added: Wuhayb ibn al-Ward said: "Let your recitation of the Quran be knowledge, and do not make it a deed alone."
