حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مِسْعَرٌ ، قَالَ : حَدّ

َثَنِي جَابِرٌ ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقَعَ فِيمَا وَقَعَ فِيهِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ :" نِعْمَ كَنْزُ الصُّعْلُوكِ سُورَةُ آلِ عِمْرَانَ ، يَقُومُ بِهَا فِي آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ "

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) via al-Sha'bi that he said: "What an excellent treasure for the destitute is Surah Al 'Imran — reciting it in the final hours of the night."
