English Translation
It was narrated from Zurara ibn Awfa in a mursal chain that the Prophet ﷺ was asked: "Which deed is the most excellent?" He said: "Al-hall al-murtahil (the one who camps and then journeys on)." It was asked: "What is al-hall al-murtahil?" He said: "The companion of the Quran who traverses from the beginning of the Quran to its end and from its end back to its beginning — each time he completes it, he sets off again."
