English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "I would not like to find any of you putting one leg over the other and humming a tune while neglecting to recite Surah al-Baqarah, for the devil flees from the house in which Surah al-Baqarah is recited. The most empty of houses is the house void of the Book of Allah."
