أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَصُومُ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ،" وَيَأْمُرُنَا بِصِيَامِهِ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ used to fast the day of Ashura and would command them to fast it.
