حَدَّثَنِي فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ

Body (Matn)

بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَوْلَا حَدَاثَةُ عَهْدِ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ، لَنَقَضْتُ الْكَعْبَةَ ثُمَّ لَبَنَيْتُهَا عَلَى أُسِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَإِنَّ قُرَيْشًا حِينَ بَنَتْ اسْتَقْصَرَتْ، ثُمَّ جَعَلَتْ لَهَا خَلْفًا "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ي said: 'The Black Stone descended from Paradise, and it was whiter than milk, but the sins of the sons of Adam made it black.'
