Hadith #1221
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" أَهَلَّ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا "، فَلَقِيتُ ابْنَ
عُمَرَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِقَوْلِ أَنَسٍ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّمَا أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ، فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَى أَنَسٍ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِقَوْلِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، فَقَالَ : مَا يَعُدُّونَا إِلَّا صِبْيَانًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ي said: 'The sacrifice (hady) suffices for those who did not bring a sacrificial animal, even if they are fasting, and the Day of Arafah is Eid for the people of Arafah.'
