Chain of Narration (Isnad)
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نُبَيْ

هِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ فِي الْمُحْرِمِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى عَيْنَيْهِ :" يَضْمِدُهَا بِالصَّبِرِ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ي said: 'Whoever does Hajj al-Tamattu and does not find a sacrificial animal, let him fast three days during Hajj and seven when he returns.'
