أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْمَدَنِيِّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَأْكُلُ بِثَلَاثِ أَصَابِعَ، وَلَا يَمْسَحُ يَدَهُ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا "

English Translation

It was narrated from Kab ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ used to eat with three fingers and would not wipe his hand until he had licked it.
