Chain of Narration (Isnad)

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَزِيدَ، قَالَا : أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" لَا تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّهْوَ وَالرُّطَبَ جَمِيعًا، وَلَا تَنْتَبِذُوا الزَّبِيبَ وَالتَّمْرَ جَمِيعًا، وَانْتَبِذُوا كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَلَى حِدَةٍ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not mix unripe dates with fresh dates, and do not mix raisins with dates. Make each one separately.'
