حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ فِي حِجْرِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ يَتَامَى، فَاشْتَرَى لَهُمْ خَمْرًا، فَ
لَمَّا نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ، أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ :أَجْعَلُهُ خَلًّا؟ قَالَ : " لَا "، فَأَهْرَاقَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abu Talhah had some wine belonging to orphans. When the prohibition of wine was revealed, he came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Pour it out.' He said: Shall I not make vinegar of it? The Prophet ﷺ said: 'No.'
