حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ

، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ حَجَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَمَعَنَا النِّسَاءُ وَالصِّبْيَانُ فَلَبَّيْنَا عَنِ الصِّبْيَانِ وَرَمَيْنَا عَنْهُمْ .

English Translation

Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that “We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and there were women and children with us. We recited Talbiyah on behalf of the children and stoned the Pillars on their behalf.”
