Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الإِنَاءِ ثَلاَثًا وَزَعَمَ أَنَسٌ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الإِنَاءِ ثَلاَثًا ‏.‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to drink from a vessel in three draughts, and Anas said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to drink from a vessel in three draughts
