حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ

Body (Matn)

صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَرَأَى عَلَيْهِمْ ثِيَابَ النِّمَارِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَا عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ، إِنْ وَجَدَ سَعَةً، أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ ثَوْبَيْنِ لِجُمُعَتِهِ، سِوَى ثَوْبَىْ مِهْنَتِهِ " .

English Translation

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon to the people one Friday, and he saw them wearing woollen clothes. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:“There is nothing wrong with any one of you, if he can afford it, buying two garments for Friday, other than his daily work clothes.”
