Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاَقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ ‏{وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ }‏ ‏.‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet ﷺ recite:“And tall date palms, with ranged clusters” [50:10] in the Subh
