The Book of Musaqah
Arabic Text
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، وَحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، الْخُزَاعِيُّ - قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ - أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ ب
ْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ خُثَيْمِ بْنِ عِرَاكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا أَفْلَسَ الرَّجُلُ فَوَجَدَ الرَّجُلُ عِنْدَهُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِعَيْنِهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا " .

English Translation
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying:When a inan becomes insolvent, and the other person (seller) finds his goods intact with him, he is more entitled to get them than anyone else
