The Book of Jihad and Expeditions

Arabic Text

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَزَا تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً وَحَجَّ بَعْدَ مَا هَاجَرَ حَجَّةً لَمْ يَحُجَّ غَيْرَهَا حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ ‏.‏

English Translation

It has been narrated on the authority of Zaid b. Arqam that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fought nineteen battles and after the Migration performed only one Pilgrimage called Hajjat-ul-Wada
