وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ ع

ُمَرَ، قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ " لاَ آكُلُهُ وَلاَ أُحَرِّمُهُ " .

English Translation

Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a person asked Allah's Messenger ﷺ about the eating of the lizard, whereupon he said. I neither eat it, nor do I prohibit it
