The Book of Drinks

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ، اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ يُتَنَفَّسَ فِي الإِنَاءِ ‏.‏

English Translation

Abu Qatada reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle ﷺ forbade breathing in a vessel
