حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَ

نْ عَبَايَةَ، بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ، رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ الْحُمَّى فَوْرٌ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " .

English Translation

Rafi' b. Khadij reported:I heard Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying: The fever is due to the intense heat of the Hell, so cool it with water
