حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ أَحَدٍ أَشْبَهَ صَلَاةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّه
ِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ فُلَانٍ إِنْسَانًا قَدْ سَمَّاهُ قَالَ الضَّحَّاكُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُطَوِّلُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنْ الظُّهْرِ وَيُخِفُّ الْآخِرَيْنِ وَخَفَّفَ الْعَصْرَ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَمَا يُشْبِهُهَا ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ بِالطُّوَالِ مِنْ الْمُفَصَّلِ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) said: 'I have not prayed behind anyone whose prayer was more resembling to the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than so-and-so.' Sulayman ibn Yasar said: 'I prayed behind him, and he used to prolong the first two rak'ahs of Dhuhr and shorten the last two, and he would shorten 'Asr, and in Maghrib he would recite the short surahs, and in 'Isha he would recite the mid-length surahs, and in Fajr he would recite the long surahs.'
