حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ يَعْنِي الْفِرْيَابِيَّ بِمَكَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ

عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَذْفُ السَّلَامِ سُنَّةٌ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every child is born upon the fitrah [natural disposition]. Then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian — just as an animal produces a perfect offspring. Do you see any born mutilated?'
