English Translation
Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Firas, from 'Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ who said: 'When a man purifies himself well and then comes to the mosque, with no other purpose than to pray in it, no step he takes but raises him a degree, and no step he takes but erases a sin from him, until he enters the mosque. And when he is in the mosque, he is considered to be in prayer as long as the prayer keeps him there, and the angels send blessings upon him as long as he remains in his place where he prays, saying: O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy upon him, as long as he does not break his wudu.'
