حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى نَهَرٍ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ وَالنَّاسُ صِيَامٌ فِي يَوْمٍ صَائِفٍ مُشَاةً
وَنَبِيُّ اللَّهِ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ لَهُ فَقَالَ اشْرَبُوا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَالَ فَأَبَوْا قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أَيْسَرُكُمْ إِنِّي رَاكِبٌ فَأَبَوْا قَالَ فَثَنَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخِذَهُ فَنَزَلَ فَشَرِبَ وَشَرِبَ النَّاسُ وَمَا كَانَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَشْرَبَ

English Translation
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, al-Jurayri narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came upon a river from the sky while the people were fasting on a hot day. He was on his mount and said: 'Drink, O people.' They refused. He said: 'I am not like you. I have ease that you do not have. I am not fasting.' Then the people drank.
