حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ عَنْ

لَيْثٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّهُ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ وَلَا تَحَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَحَاسَدُوا وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَلَا تَنَافَسُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا كَمَا أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ

English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The best of charity is that which is given when one is self-sufficient. And the upper hand is better than the lower hand. And begin with those you support.'
