حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَثَابِتٌ وَحُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ كَانُوا يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بْ { الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ } إِلَّا أَنَّ حُمَيْدًا لَمْ يَذْكُرْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
English Translation
Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Qatadah, Thabit, and Humayd, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman (رضي الله عنهم) used to begin the recitation with 'Al-hamdu lillahi Rabb al-'Alamin' (Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds).
