‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏بَهْزٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏قَتَادَةُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ يَقُولُ ‏ ‏التَّفْلُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَطِيئَةٌ وَكَفَّارَتُهُ دَفْنُهَا ‏

English Translation

Bahz narrated to us, Aban ibn Yazid narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) narrated to us, that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: 'Spitting in the mosque is a sin, and its expiation is burying it.'
