English Translation

Bahz narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, he said: Qatadah informed us, from Anas (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet ﷺ forbade continuous fasting (wisal). They said: 'But you practice wisal.' He said: 'I am not like you. I spend the night and my Lord feeds me and gives me drink.'
