English Translation

Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) say: the Prophet ﷺ led us in prayer on the Day of Sacrifice (Eid al-Adha) in Madinah, and some people had already slaughtered their animals thinking the Prophet ﷺ had slaughtered. He ordered them to re-slaughter and not to slaughter until he had slaughtered.
