‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْد اللَّهِ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏أَبِي ‏ ‏وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ‏ ‏قَالَا ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عُمَرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ‏ ‏أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيَّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَابِرٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ ‏ ‏الْهِرِّ ‏

English Translation

Abdullah narrated to us, my father and Yahya ibn Ma'in narrated to me, they said: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Umar ibn Zayd al-San'ani narrated to us, that he heard Abu al-Zubayr al-Makki, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: 'The master of the martyrs is Hamzah ibn Abd al-Muttalib, and a man who stands before an unjust ruler, commands him and forbids him, and the ruler kills him.'
