Hadith #215
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ حُمِلُوا مِنْ مَكَانِهِمْ فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ رُدُّوا الْقَتْلَى إِلَى مَضَاجِعِهَا
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, from Nubayh, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), that the slain of Uhud were being carried from their positions. Then the crier of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called out: 'Return the slain to their places where they fell.' So they were returned to their places.
