َنَا عَطَاءٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا فَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَوْ عَجَزَ عَنْهَا فَلْيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ وَلَا يُؤَاجِرْهَا

English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik, 'Ata' narrated to us, from Jabir (رضي الله عنهما), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever has land, let him cultivate it. If he is unable or incapable, let him lend it to his brother [to cultivate]. And let him not rent it out.'
