Hadith #307
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الْفَقِي
رِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي بُعِثْتُ إِلَى الْأَحْمَرِ وَالْأَسْوَدِ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ إِنَّمَا يُبْعَثُ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ خَاصَّةً وَبُعِثْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ عَامَّةً وَأُحِلَّتْ لِي الْغَنَائِمُ وَلَمْ تُحَلَّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ شَهْرٍ وَجُعِلَتْ لِي الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُصَلِّ حَيْثُ أَدْرَكَتْهُ

English Translation
Hushaym informed us, Sayyar informed us, from Yazid al-Faqir, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I have been given five things that no one before me was given: I was sent to the red and the black [i.e., all of humanity]. Prophets before me were sent only to their own people, while I was sent to all of mankind. The earth was made a place of prayer and purification for me. War spoils were made lawful for me, and they were not lawful for anyone before me. I was given intercession. And I was given victory through awe [cast into the hearts of enemies] for a distance of one month's travel.'
