'Abbad ibn 'Abbad al-Muhallabi narrated to us, from Hisham ibn 'Urwah, from Wahb ibn Kaysan, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever revives a dead [barren] land, he has a reward in it. And whatever any creature eats from it, it is counted as charity for him.'
