English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Amr, who said: I heard Jabir (رضي الله عنهما) say: A man said on the day of Uhud to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'If I am killed, where will I be?' He said: 'In Paradise.' So the man threw away the dates that were in his hand and fought until he was killed. — And he said another time: 'So the man fought.'
