حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ وَهِيَ تَبْكِي فَقَالَ مَا لَكِ تَبْكِينَ قَالَتْ أَبْكِي أَنَّ النَّاسَ أَحَلُّوا وَلَمْ أَحْلِلْ وَطَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَمْ أَطُفْ وَهَذَا الْحَجُّ قَدْ حَضَرَ قَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا أَمْرٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ فَاغ
ْتَسِلِي وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ وَحُجِّي قَالَتْ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَلَمَّا طَهُرْتُ قَالَ طُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ قَدْ أَحْلَلْتِ مِنْ حَجِّكِ وَمِنْ عُمْرَتِكِ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَجِدُ فِي نَفْسِي مِنْ عُمْرَتِي أَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ طُفْتُ حَتَّى حَجَجْتُ قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ بِهَا يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ فَأَعْمِرْهَا مِنْ التَّنْعِيمِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bakr informed us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed us that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) say: the Prophet ﷺ entered upon 'A'ishah (رضي الله عنها) while she was crying. He said: 'What is the matter with you, why are you crying?' She said: 'I have begun menstruating, and the people have completed their rites while I have not performed tawaf of the Ka'bah.' He said: 'This is something that Allah has ordained for the daughters of Adam. Perform all the rites except tawaf of the Ka'bah [until you are pure].'
