حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْقُلُ مَعَهُمْ حِجَارَةَ الْكَ
عْبَةِ وَعَلَيْهِ إِزَارٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ الْعَبَّاسُ عَمُّهُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي لَوْ حَلَلْتَ إِزَارَكَ فَجَعَلْتَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْكَ دُونَ الْحِجَارَةِ قَالَ فَحَلَّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ فَسَقَطَ مَغْشِيًّا عَلَيْهِ فَمَا رُئِيَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ عُرْيَانًا

English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Zakariyya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Dinar narrated to us, he said: I heard Jabir (رضي الله عنهما) narrating that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was carrying stones of the Ka'bah with them [during its rebuilding], wearing only a lower garment. His uncle [al-'Abbas] said to him: 'O nephew, if you would undo your garment and place it on your shoulder under the stones [to cushion them].' So he untied it and placed it on his shoulder, and he fell unconscious. He was never seen unclothed after that.
