حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ هِشَامٌ وَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ وَهْبَ بْنَ كَيْسَانَ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ لَحَدَّثَنِي قَالَ اشْتَدَّ الْأَمْرُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى
اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا رَجُلٌ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ فَانْطَلَقَ الزُّبَيْرُ فَجَاءَ بِخَبَرِهِمْ ثُمَّ اشْتَدَّ الْأَمْرُ أَيْضًا فَذَكَرَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا وَابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ حَوَارِيَّ

English Translation
Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, Hisham said: I narrated it to Wahb ibn Kaysan, and he said: 'I testify that Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) narrated to me, saying: The situation was dire on the day of the Trench. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Will someone not bring me news of [the tribe of] Banu Qurayzah? Al-Zubayr went. Then he asked again, and al-Zubayr went. the Prophet ﷺ said: Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is al-Zubayr.'
