حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ طَافَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِيَرَاهُ النَّاسُ وَلِيُشْرِفَ وَلِيَسْأَلُوهُ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ غَشُوهُ
English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed tawaf during the Farewell Hajj around the Ka'bah on his riding camel, and between al-Safa and al-Marwah, so that the people could see him and he was elevated above them, and they could ask him, for the people had surrounded him."
