خْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْهِ وَالضَّرْبِ فِي الْوَجْهِ

English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, Abu al-Zubayr informed me, he said: 'I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us from branding on the face and striking on the face."'
