حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الشِّغَارِ
English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed us that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited shighar (a marriage where a man gives his daughter in marriage to another man on the condition that the other gives his daughter to him, with no mahr paid to either woman)."
