English Translation

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Layth, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه), who said: "Abu Quhafah (the father of Abu Bakr) was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the Day of the Conquest (of Makkah), and his head and beard were white like thaghamah (a white plant). the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Change this (white hair) with something, but avoid black.'"
