English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Sharik informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil, from Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما): "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'What do you think — if I fight with my life and my wealth, and I am killed while patient and seeking reward, advancing and not retreating, will I enter Paradise?' He said: 'Yes.' When the man turned away, the Prophet ﷺ called him back and said: 'Unless you are in debt (and have not settled it). Jibril (عليه السلام) informed me of that.'"
